Dr. Alexandrian has more than 15 years of combined clinical experience. Having worked with a wide range of individuals in various settings, Dr. Alexandrian has developed an expertise in conducting psychological evaluations and providing clinical treatment for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her clinical background involves assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults, especially those from underserved communities. As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Alexandrian maintains a private practice, providing individual psychotherapy and conducting psychological evaluations. Dr. Alexandrian also conducts psychological evaluations of individuals who have filed Workers' Compensation claims and is a Qualified Medical Examiner. Previously, Dr. Alexandrian had served as the clinical director of an outpatient mental health clinic in the San Fernando Valley.
Dr. Alexandrian understands that seeking out a therapist and starting therapy can sometimes be an intimidating process. Therefore, she strives to create a therapeutic environment to promote self-exploration in a safe and comfortable atmosphere. A good connection is essential for successful therapy. Therefore she maintains an active and compassionate approach throughout treatment. Her style is relaxed, compassionate, supportive and non-judgmental and her skills and experience have allowed her to work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Dr. Alexandrian's goals include helping individuals manage emotions more effectively, acquire the skills necessary to take control of their lives and improve communication and relationships.
Dr. Alexandrian is fluent in Spanish and Armenian and provides both in-person sessions as well as telehealth sessions.
